Family Weekend
Family Weekend

I went to Arizona this October. We went to go see my sister. It was family weekend at Arizona State University. My sister goes to college there. I went with my mom and dad. We drove to Chicago and then we took an airplane to Arizona. The airplane landed and we checked into Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona. The hotel had a pool and hot tub. My mom and dad relaxed by the pool and I swam in the pool. I had fun swimming back and forth. I relaxed in the hot tub. I played Sorry, Yahtzee, and Phase 10 by the pool. I went with my mom, dad, and my sister Beth to go shopping. We went to the mall. I bought clothes, a dress, flowers for my hair, an ASU tank top, and a champagne glass. I liked shopping because it was fun. I got new things. I like them. We went to a tailgate and football game. We ate hamburgers and chips. We brought drinks like pop and water in a cooler. It was wild! Then we went to the football game. I saw Sparky, the mascot. Our seats were up high. I saw fireworks when Arizona scored touchdowns! My mom and I got some food at the game. ASU won the game. It was fun. My trip was special because I saw my sister. We saw her new apartment and we met Beth's friends. I have not seen my sister in a long time, so it was nice to see her. At the end of the weekend, I flew home. The weather was hot and my weekend was fun!
