Jules Greenwald serves at the National Down Syndrome Society’s Vice President of Development. He is responsible for overseeing all fundraising and development activities for the organization.
Mr. Greenwald has over thirty years of experience in the nonprofit sector as a senior development executive and as a consultant raising close to $140 million in financial support from individuals, corporations and foundations. His experience runs the gamut from the successful management of multi-million dollar capital and endowment campaigns including leadership recruitment, development and training to the creation and oversight of annual and direct mail appeals, from organizing and managing high net revenue special events, to the writing of public relations materials and grant proposals.
Most recently, Mr. Greenwald served as National Director of the Huntington's Disease Society of America, Inc. (HDSA). HDSA is a national, voluntary health organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with Huntington's Disease; he was with the organization for three and a half years. Mr. Greenwald has, throughout his professional career, served a variety of non-profit clients nationally that has taken him to communities throughout the United States where he has directed successful community-wide programs supportive of new construction, facilities renovation and program development for healthcare and social service organizations.
