Captain Robert P. Taishoff, JAGC, USN (ret) is the CEO of Annapolis Yacht Sales and Service. Before this he served on active duty as the Director of the Appellate Defense Division for Navy-Marine Corps Appellate Review Activity, managing Navy and Marine Corps attorneys and civilians who represent service members with cases on appeal at the Navy-Marine Corps Court of Criminal Appeals, the Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and the United States Supreme Court.

President: Jon Colman
Jon Colman was appointed to the position of President in December 2007. Mr. Colman is the 4th full-time president in NDSS' 31 year history.
Mr. Colman joined NDSS in 2001, working in the area of educational programming. He quickly rose to the Senior VP of Programs and Operations position, then assumed the role of Acting Director in February 2006 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in September of 2006.

VP of Advocacy & Affiliate Relations: Sara Hart Weir
Sara Hart Weir, MS, serves as the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Vice President of Advocacy & Affiliate Relations. Ms. Weir leads the organization's Washington, DC office and oversees the organization’s work on Capitol Hill, its legislative agenda, and leads NDSS’ advocacy, affiliate, and educational programs. Ms. Weir was recently appointed by Governor Martin O’Malley of Maryland to Commission for Effective Community Inclusion of Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.

Mark Priceman comes to the National Down Syndrome Society after spending the last nine years working in the media, most recently with SiriusXM Satellite Radio. After spending his formative years in Chicago, Mr. Priceman graduated from San Diego State University in 2006 with a B.A. in Political Science.
